Efficient implementation of low cost and secure framework with firmware updates

Recently, the Internet of things (IoT) has become extensively used in our daily lives. This technology offers a new vision future internet where devices are interconnected and can communicate together. A big number these complicates firmware update makes it more expensive since each node must be updated locally. Nevertheless, there many cases cannot change their location to upgrade locally due an unreachable or dangerous place. Therefore, is necessary remotely devices. In this study, authors propose efficient implementation low cost secure framework upgrading employing latter On-The-Air programming technique. The present proof concept for ubiquitous system applying wireless programmer. Our design remote broadcasting image code without disturbing main functionality nodes. validated performance on real network based STM32 micro-controllers. results showed reduction time-off, enabling continuous operation ecosystem.
